Challenge
The challenge was to design a service for home owners that enables them to take adequate care of their furniture
Results
We talked to more than 20 people involved in furniture maintenance to make a service blueprint for FurniCare. We also made a Furniture Maintenance Kit that people get when they buy new furniture and an app training module on how to use it. The training module is available in all Indian languages so that cleaning staff at homes can also use it to learn. The cleaning products last longer than regular ones because they are concentrated formulas that the user dilutes. This saves a lot of money on shipping and storage costs, since the kits will also need to be kept at furniture shops. The kits are made to fit each type of furniture and are very easy to use.
